Ohio State Fair - Sweet Sweet Sweet Corn

The best corn, bar none, was to be had at the Ohio State Fair this year.  I have tried many varieties of corn this summer and the best of the best was at the indoor pavilon at the state fair.  It was not roasted but steamed and kept in a warmer.  It seemed as if the corn field were out back and they went and picked each ear and freshly prepared it just for me.

Ohio State Fair - Percheron, Belgian Hitches

Here is a nice Team of Belgian Horses.  I did not know it, but they said when Belgian's were first brought to the United States that most of them were black.  The man holding them was over 6 foot tall and you can see by the position of his arm that these horses are really large.

The Ohio State Fair was very interesting this year.  They have instituted check points and scanners at all of the gates.  The State Highway Patrol now runs the admisssion process at all of the gates. You must walk through body scanners, and they go through all of your bags including purses and the like.

GOBA - Joe Banana & the Bunch

  Joe Banana & the Bunch playing last nite in the middle of main street at Roscoe Village for the Great American Bicycle Adventure GOBA festivites.

b. Coshocton - Gobaville - Beautiful

There is nothing but a colorful sea of over tents and bicycles as 3000 people particpate in the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure.  One of their stops is a Lake Park in Coshocton, Ohio.  Their activities continue through tomorrow at Lake Park with all kinds of entertainment and the like.  Bike Adventure

Bowling

I have never been to a bowling tournament, but have seen them on television.  Maybe I will go to this one a snap a few photos. 

Buckeye Lake

Buckeye lake is within just a few miles of Muskingum County and is a great place for walking, fishing, boating, eating, or just sitting by the water.  I go there frequently as I love to walk along and listen to the boats on the water and feel the breeze blow in.
