Downtown Zanesville Car Show

                                                                                                                                                        This morning we came upon an impromtu car show in downtown Zanesville.  It is sort of like a "fly in" one participant said, but we "drive-in" and have breakfast and chat.  How'd you like to own this 'vette????  Go to photo Album for more picts.

Denny's Hot Summer Nights Cruise-In

This sure is a very sharp looking Mustang. Denny's always gets a good crowd of spectators and quality cars.  WYBZ 107:3 provides some great music and the owners can relax, enjoy the cruise in and drink a milkshake or two.

Tim Hartman of Philo saw this GT302 1974 Falcon sitting on blocks in Philo, bought it and started restoring it.  It originally came from Austrailia, but Tim doesn't know how it ended up in the States.  By double clicking on the photo, notice the steering wheel is on the right side.  Nice Falcon, Tim!

APBA - Dillon

The APBA - American Power Boat Assn. http://www.apba-racing.com  race event was held at Dillon State Park this weekend.  Participants were from several states including Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Several classes were held and the boats were beautiful.  Many spectators were on hand to watch the event.  Look at APBA photo album for more photos. Kelloggs (TM) 5 K Run

Here are the runners getting signed up this morning.  Some really nice trophies await the winners.

All Chipped Up Kelloggs (TM) 5 K Run

Microchips have been in used for some time now and are attached to the shoes of the runners.  They have a system that is used to keep track of the individual times, etc.  Many of the local races do not incorporate them, but most of the bigger races do.  This chip says www.runnerssupply.net

The Balloon Goat

Here is certainly a curiosity.  This goat, with a little help from his friends, was blowing up lots of balloons at today's Zanesville Farmers market to the delight of all.

EAA Fly-In Parr Airport

The pancake breakfast and fly-in is underway this morning at the Parr Airport on Fairview Road.  The breakfast is open to the public and they are also offering airplane rides for $20
