This trail is 2.9 miles long and goes from downtown Zanesville along the Muskingum River and the railroad tracks and connects to Riverside Park along State Route 666. Go to photo album to view more photos. The park can be busy at times with folks walking dogs, skaters, skateboarders, bicyclists, moms with strollers and at other times it can be quite empty.
I walk here all the time and enjoy it very much. Have never had any problems here, but still prefer to walk with a companion, as most of the trail is isolated. It is pretty and flat and an easy walk.
