Times Recorder Article on 10 K race.
This weekends race seemed profession in every way. From the publicity, sponsorships, prizes, organizations, guest appearances, award ceremonies to the logistics. This was a fine race. The only suggestion I have to make it much better, is next time set up the finish line so that the spectators can gather there. I would have like to have seen the finish line for some snapshots. I was able to get a snapshot of this participant as he was entering into Dresden.
Walking off pounds is a great way to get in shape. I am going to start tomorrow, right after the big buffet tonight.

Hot! Hot! Hot!
Denny's www.dennys.com/en/ car show was really a success and many participants and people turned out for the fun. I really enjoy the camraderie and the excitement in the air at these affairs. The nostalgia is great.
The crowd is certainly enjoying themselves dancing to oldies at the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure in Coshocton on Thurs June 19th

One little boy was quite thrilled to make this catch at the Dresden Homecoming fishing hole. He was immediately ready to try again for an even bigger one but I think his mother wasn't in the mood to be faced with another fish to fry.

Merry-go-rounds just seem to make the day, don't they. What would a carnival be without them. The colors and carving art are always fascinating. We would always race as kids to see who could get the prettiest or the fastest looking one. It was always a downer if you had to sit on the benches intead of getting a mount.
