Corn Production
The corn is a few inches high right now. I wonder how many Muskingum County Farmers will be producing corn for themselves, how many will produce for feed, and how many will produce for Ethanol purposes. The price of corn will certainly be up this year if all goes well.

Zanesville Memorial Concert Band
A very large crowd gathered on the Lawn of the Dr. Increase Matthews House to hear the Zanesville Memorial Concert Band. One of my favorites that they played was a segment of Richard Harris song written by Jimmy Webb, McArthur Park You Tube Link Watch Richard Harris Sing Someone Left the Cake out in the Rain. I was ready to hear the full length version! What a great evening in a park like setting. It was like being transported back in time.
