This beach blog may not develop as quickly as the main www.MuskCo.typepad.com, but beaches never leave my mind and are always my inspiration.

No, Muskingum County is not Miami!
Beaches are my absolute favorite places in the whole world.
I love the ocean. Even hurricanes, somewhat. If I could be guaranteed that I would never be hurt, I would stand right on the beach and watch one hurl. There is an electricity that permeates the air during a beach storm that invorgates my body, mind and soul. Gorgeous!
The purpose of this blog is to hopefully find ways for beach lovers from southeastern Ohio to have more opportunities to take beach vacations cheaply and or uniquely. I plan to discuss some of my travels and discoveries relating to this.
Some of the beaches in Muskingum County will also be explored, though quite different from the tropical variety, can still provide enjoyment.
If no vacation can be taken out of State, then ways to bring the beach home, such as decorating, beach ambience, books, movies, cooking, etc. can lighten the heart.
