Hello, I know I have been away from this blog for a little while, but I am back.  And I really would like to go to Florida in October or November.  Dislike winter tremendously.  I will make it on one set of wheels or the other.  Ahoy mates!

What are these zones and how will do they affect Americas Beaches?  Constitution Free Zones

Winds of Change

  Who ever heard of a Hurricane aiming at Texas and hitting Ohio?  Well, the times they are a changin' aren't they?  There was some serious damage done to the Cranberry Bog Cranberry Bog LInk at Buckeye Lake from Ike. 

Galveston has no drinking water, electricity, gas or sewer. The bridge connecting the island is closed to anyone trying to get onto the island, and may remain closed for another week. Houses, Condos, Cottages, Obx

This is the "Lighthouse" so it was dubbed.  It is located somewhere around Kitty Hawk, on the Beach Road or Hwy. 12.  I liked the authentic look of it.  It has several rentals in it.  Many of the condos all look uniform and alike, but this one was a little more unique.

Obx Sailing

There is lots of sailing opportunites in the outerbanks of North Carolina.  Several places can be found along highway 158 that offer sailing and kayaking lessons.

Shops in Outerbanks

Regarding the previous post from yesterday.  I guess I do have the name of the shop.  It is Beach Daze.

This particular shop rented kayaks and all types of things for the beach and water sports.  There are a few diffent shops that do this.  I did not catch the name of this shop, but loved the art work on the side of the building. It was located on the beach road, Hwy.12 close to Kill Devil Hills.
